[There's a few things Gordo's realized: he's not in his middle school and something is very wrong. He feels pretty upset, but if there's anything he's learned from having psychologists as parents? It's best to remain calm and if you're in a dangerous situation, you've got to think about your position.

He's also realized he has wings and maybe this just means hes dreaming? But this is a really realistic dream. He's also already pinched himself and nope.

It's also night time and he appears to be in somebody's house.

He has a book that has a camera in it. Strange...

And this is really weird.

He needs to do something because sitting here in the dark in somebody else's house could be dangerous. He doesn't really seem to be kidnapped by anybody here because he's in a living room. And he could just walk out, but since he has no idea where he is? Well, no. Not a good idea.

He'll take a chance because this seems to be the only thing he can do. So he could be in your apartment, knocking on doors so he can talk to someone about this. He's really just a 14 year old boy and looks pretty defenseless in just his white cotton pants.]

Well there are some people who decide not to read the guide but I imagine that might cause a few problems for them later. It helps to find out and know about what you're dealing with when you're in any sort of new situation.

Like an instruction manual. You can't build a chair without one. Though I guess being kidnapped to an entirely different world is nothing like building a chair, but I'm kind of low on brilliant metaphors.
